Ridwan Rusli is Founder and CEO of Exergy Advisory Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based energy consulting firm and Senior Advisor to NorthStar Pacific Ltd, an Asian private equity firm. Mr Rusli serves on the boards of several energy companies in China (coal, hydrogen), India (biofuels) and Indonesia (oil & gas). He is also a Research Fellow of the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) of the Lew Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
Mr Rusli was Managing Director, Head of Asia Natural Resources and Co-Head of Asia Energy at Credit Suisse Investment Banking, Singapore between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that he worked at Lehman Brothers in Singapore, UBS in Frankfurt, London, Zurich, Singapore and Lurgi AG in Frankfurt.
Mr Rusli holds a Diplom Chemiker degree (eq. MSc) in Chemistry from the Technical University of Berlin, an MSc in Chemical Engineering Practice (MSCEP) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MSc in Management (eq. MBA) from MIT Sloan School of Management.
